Somatic Education
I provide Somatic Education for Individuals, Couples, Small Groups and Organizations (Non-Profits, Companies, Corporations, Spiritual Organizations, Schools). Somatic Education gives you the understanding and tools needed to listen to what your body is telling you, communicate your needs effectively with others, gracefully navigate interpersonal conflicts, and develop a co-creative--rather than competitive--relationship with your partner, family, coworkers, and community.
For Individuals:
Sustainable change, happiness and harmony starts with YOU! Somatic Education helps you understand the self-regulating signals of your nervous system, the wise intelligence of your heart, the boundary-holding powers of your gut brain, and the holistic interconnections in your body. As you begin to know your body from the inside-out, many beneficial changes occur: your nervous system relaxes so your health improves, mood swings stabilize, anxiety and depression lift away, and your capacity for life's wide variety of experiences increases. When each person develops a relationship with their own body and understands how to regulate their own nervous system, relationships can flourish and become mutually supportive and uplifting. Exploring somatic awareness as a couple and learning exercises in how to negotiate touch, how bodies co-regulate and how to communicate resourcefully creates a solid foundation for a securely-attached partnership.
For Groups & Organizations:
Somatic Education for groups helps build trust within a company, organization, nonprofit, or other group. Building trust helps avoid conflict, ego takeovers, competition and sticky relational messes of all kinds that usually weigh a group down and prevent them from reaching a higher level of success, earning potential, and social reach. Group exercises allow a safe space for feelings to be shared without dramatization so co-workers can feel heard and move back into a state of trust.
